Amal Lafhal joined Coldwell Banker in the Spring of 2017 as Associate Broker bringing her team called Lafhal Associates. Prior to joining Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage, Amal was a Top Producer for two years at Keller Williams Realty in McLean breaking her sales record in 2015 raising her to Lifetime Top Producer status with Northern Virginia Association of Realtors.
Prior to Keller Williams Realty, Amal briefly had her own brokerage company called Washington Luxury Properties, a real estate boutique that had strong market share from the middle east to the east coast in the U.S.A. The company built strong ties to the global market place. That was 2012 to November 2014. Amal participated at many International Real Estate Exhibitions such as Dubai Cityscape Global in 2013 and Cityscape Qatar in 2014. A Moroccan born with a passion for real estate, Amal immigrated to the United States in 1999 to further her education, and to pursue her real estate dreams. Shortly upon her arrival she obtained her Virginia, DC, and Maryland Real Estate Licenses and joined Long & Foster Real Estate Inc.
Amal was a Top Producing Realtor with Long and Foster Real Estate first starting off at Democracy Blvd Office in 2005 and moving to Old Courthouse Road Office in Vienna in 2006 where she excelled to achieve many awards. She moved to her company in 2012.
With over 13 years of experience in real estate, Amal is proud to not only meet her client’s expectations but exceed them. Through cooperation, communication, and mutual objective Amal over two hundred million dollars in sales volume and led many large successful transactions. Alan A. Rezaie, Business Development with Lafhal Associates has been working side by side of Amal for the past 13 years. He is multi-talented specializing in rentals, property management, marketing and listing specialist. Alan is a licensed Realtor in Virginia and Maryland as well often holding Open Houses for Lafhal Associates. He resides in McLean, Virginia and brings a high level of energy and enthusiasm for real estate each and every day.
Alan Rezaie has been a former Committee Member for Greater Capital Area Association of Realtors- Public Policy, Leadership Advisory, and Community Service Committees. Alan Rezaie has also been President of Campbell’s Landing Homeowner Association for 4 years in Tysons, Virginia. Alan Rezaie has worked with Amal at Long and Foster Real Estate, Inc. from 2005- 2012, Washington Luxury Properties from 2012- 2014, Keller Williams Realty McLean from 2014- 2016 and would like to stay with Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage for the duration of his career. He has designations in Seller Representative Specialist, Accredited Buyer Representation, and Corporate Relocation Professional. Alan obtained his Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing from University of Maryland College Park in 1990. Amal and I came into the business just before the bubble was about to burst in 2006. We had a great start with L&F, achieving awards and doing great business with first time homebuyers. When the market changed, so did the Realtors and many people existing. Amal and I had no business for six months. I was about to exist because we worked hard for 6 months with no business. It was tough, than we met a CEO of a government contracting software company at our Open House a few months. He called and to show him a $1.8 million dollar listing. He ended buying working with us and utilizing Amal’s negotiation abilities. Even though he was a great negotiator, he really put us on our tippy toes to make it happen. It was a sale I never forgot and the spark for Amal and I to continue working. We ended up having a great 2006, and never looked back even with Million Dollar loans freezing, gas prices going up and first time homebuyers disappearing. Our international investor clients were adding up and we actually were excelling in our business and never looked back. Even though our business has been a bit volatile, we have seen year over year of growth and productivity. We are always looking for ways to make clients happy and stay ahead of the market.”
